why tutoring?

I spent a lot of time in school. I might as well put it to use, right? I scored high on my SATs and perform quite well in aptitude tests. I also play a mean game of Trivial Pursuit. Basically, I seem to know a lot, I am a fast learner, and I enjoy teaching at the one-on-one level (or one-to-a-few). All throughout school and now in my everyday life, I find myself giving lessons and educating those around me.

how much?

$50 an hour, billed in quarter-hour increments. Willing to travel within the five boroughs of New York City at no charge.
