Just wanted to take a moment to thank you for your excellent performance in our film, Saturnalia. Your take on the character was not only exactly what I wanted and thought the film needed, but you also brought a lot of wonderful ideas that I found refreshing, in terms of your choices as an actor, and also your suggestions for the narrative, wardrobe, and even dialogue. It is very difficult to find actors who come so prepared to the set and who also have the initiative you demonstrated in our production. Can't wait to work with you again.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Justin Hoch! He is an amazing and funny-as-hell actor, a pretty damn good bass player, and an exceptional website designer, not to mention just an overall cool guy. He puts 110% into EVERYTHING he does and does it with a smile on his face. I absolutely adore him and i'm honored to call him my friend.

Justin has one of the best attitudes of anyone I've ever encountered, and that's saying a lot (I come from a scarily happy family).

I first met Justin in a dingy hotel in India four years ago, at 2am in the morning, He had just flown 22 hours to get there as part of a digital storytelling team of volunteers ready to help young Tibetan students create their own stories to share with the world. And I had to tell him that the hotel had no bed for him. When I told him, he smiled brightly and said, “No problem, I can make something work here on the floor.” I knew immediately I was going to like this guy! This became Justin's MO throughout the following 10 days and in subsequent volunteering he did with other workshops we held…every problem we brought to him, from interpersonal to technical, Justin smiled, remained optimistic, and always found a solution. Mr. Magic Man. Don’t leave home without him….

In my position as an alumni relations professional, I am always looking for capable, committed individuals to assist with alumni events, programs and other initiatives. Justin has always been willing to lend his outstanding talent (and magnetic personality) to university functions. He is selfless with his time and talent. Whether just "working the room" at a function, or lending his ability with a camera to help capture a program's special moments, he always carries himself with confidence, class, and an unassumptive "swagger." I am proud to know him as a person and as a professional, and would welcome the chance to work with him at any presented opportunity.
