why proofreader?
In writing, as in many other forms of work, the quality of the final product can be greatly increased by having another set of eyes look out for mistakes, content, and communicability. I've always enjoyed the process of proofreading much more than the process of writing, and often help friends, family, and -- when I was still in school -- other students with writing assignments. Editing also came up quite often in my last couple years of employment. I have vast experience writing and editing letters, newsletters, grants, business reports, statistical analyses, technical documentation, policies and procedures, and other types of written material.
