why handymanning?
I bought a 115-year-old house in December, 2004. I spent the good part of a year upgrading, learning about, fixing, replacing, and experimenting on this building with only myself to answer to. That provided quite a fertile training ground where I could make all the mistakes necessary to become skilled. Now I have a ton of tools and I feel like I should be putting them to use. Besides, I quite enjoy the work, the problem solving aspect, and the satisfaction of improving things. It doesn't hurt that work is abundant, either.
